Privacy
Short version: we collect what we need to place you on campaigns and pay you. We don't sell it. You can ask us to delete it.
Who we are
Bridge Creators Limited, registered in Hong Kong, company number 80655378. We decide what happens to your information, which makes us the controller of it.
What we collect
- Your name, email and phone number.
- Your social handles and portfolio link.
- Where you're based, and what you make content about.
- Where you're at with brand work, and brands you've worked with before.
- Anything else you choose to write in the form.
- If you accept our creator terms: the date and time, the version, a fingerprint of the exact wording, and the IP address you accepted from. That's the record of what you agreed to, and it's the only thing that can show later which terms were on the screen.
Why we're allowed to hold it
Mostly because we need it to do what you asked us to — decide whether you're a fit, send you briefs, and pay you. The acceptance record we keep because both of us need to be able to prove what was agreed. Tax records we keep because the law requires it.
Who sees it
- Brands we're placing you on see your handles and your content. They need to see who they're working with. What they then do with it is their responsibility to you, separately from ours.
- The tools we run on — Notion for our creator records, Discord for the brief board, and our website host. They process it for us and for nothing else.
- Nobody else. We don't sell your data and we don't share it for marketing.
Where it goes
Those providers are mostly in the United States, so your information leaves Hong Kong, and if you're in the UK or EU it leaves there too. We only use providers who commit to the standard safeguards for that kind of transfer.
How long we keep it
- Applications we don't take forward: 24 months, then deleted.
- If you join the network: while you're with us, and 24 months after your last campaign.
- Acceptance records and anything tax requires: 7 years, because we have to.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of what we hold on you.
- Ask us to correct anything wrong.
- Ask us to delete it, or to stop using it, except records we're legally required to keep.
- Object to us using it. Tell us and we'll stop, unless we have to continue.
- Withdraw your application at any time.
If we get it wrong
Email us first and we'll deal with it. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live — the ICO in the UK, your national authority in the EU, or the PCPD in Hong Kong.
Under 18s
We don't work with creators under 18 and we don't knowingly keep their information. If you think we have some, tell us and we'll delete it.
